Dr. Mendoza obtained his degree as a Clinical Laboratory Technician in 1983 from National Polytechnic Institute where he worked as a Hematology Laboratory Professor. He continued his medicine education by enrolling in Superior School of Medicine in 1983 where he became an anatomy instructor during his first year. He held a pregrade internship in the Navy Hospital of Manzanillo Colima and performed his social service as Medical Chief Officer in the Mexican Navy and obtained his degree as a Surgeon Doctor and Obstetrician in 1990. Dr. Mendoza has always had a passion for laboratory science and animals. In the year 2000, he started his services as Laboratory Supervisor for IDEXX Laboratories in Maryland and later as Hematology Supervisor at Antech Laboratories.
